Used Cars Priced Almost Like New Cars

The economic crisis that we are in gives birth to many economic paradoxes. The economic crisis that we are in gives birth to many economic paradoxes. One of them can be prices of used cars. Prior to the crisis, when the economy was on the right balance, prices of used cars were significantly lower than of new ones and usually reflected the true value of a second-hand car. However, the reigning crisis seems to turn things almost upside down. As many statistics show prices of new and used cars could actually continue to rise in the coming months. What is happening to prices of second-hand vehicles is due to several reasons. As there is the scarcity of good reliable used cars in the market and the scrappage scheme takes some useful old bangers for crushing, prices tend to creep north a little bit as the outcome of the supply and demand principle.
